BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Three people have been arrested by the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team with the help of Battle Creek police.
Two men, 40 and 34-years-old, were the targets of a drug sales investigation when KVET and Battle Creek police executed a search warrant on Friday in the 40 block of West Burnham Street in Battle Creek. They were arrested without any issues.
When the search warrant was being executed, a third man arrived at the home and police found him to be illegally concealing a gun.
The 40 and 34-year-olds are in the Calhoun County Jail and will be facing several felony charges, while the third suspect, a 36-year-old man, was arrested for illegal gun possession and will also face multiple felony charges.
Police seized over a quarter-pound of fentanyl and evidence of drug manufacturing and distribution.
