BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – One person was injured in a stabbing incident at a hotel in Battle Creekthat occurred in the early morning hours of Tuesday.
Battle Creek Police Department officers responded to a report of a male victim suffering from a stab wound around 6:30 a.m. Once on scene at the FairBridge Inn Express, located at 4786 Beckley Road, officers located a 24-year-old Battle Creek man with an apparent stab wound to his upper abdomen.
The stabbing victim was transported to a local hospital, where he is receiving medical care and treatment.
BCPD says officers and detectives on-scene interviewed all individuals believed to be involved in this stabbing incident. At this time, no arrests have been made.
