RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A Richland Township woman was arraigned on an Open Murder charge Monday after a man was killed Friday night in what Michigan State Police call an apparent domestic dispute.
36-year-old Brittany Groat is accused of killing 50-year-old Robert Larsen shortly 9:00 p.m. in their home on West Sturtevant Avenue near Lausen Lane, about two miles northwest of Richland.
Groat was arrested shortly afterward and is being held in Kalamazoo County Jail. A Probable Cause Conference is set for August 5, 2026.
